Oh I bet right now with all the rising gas prices that they are probably hurting something fierce. I can't blame them for thinking of selling as I could not even imagine the hit they are taking right now. But I would think their profits from their other vehicles would keep them from panicking and selling off so quickly.

i don't blame them for wanting to sell. But in the current market, who'd be willing to buy?

Thats a good question. I didn't think about who might be willing to buy....I was just assuming that there would be some dealer out there willing to take the chance but in todays economy, maybe not.

I think it is only going to get worse as time goes on. Maybe three or four years from now when the economy is better will they be seeing any profit and a boost in sales.

I don't think they'll have anyone to sell to, to be quite honest. I just hope they won't bury the brand, it would be such a shame.

They must really be hurting if they are even considering a move like this! I really can not imagine who would want to pick them up now either, given the state of the economy... What a shame.

Hummer dealers are not the only ones taking a hit. Ford is taking a hit as well, but it is their own fault. They have had technology for decades that would increase mpg and yet they continue to give the consumer what they want and not what they need. This must change if they expect to contineu to make the profits they are used to.
Thanks, for the information .I'll watch it out.
