Hummer as a second vehicle

In this day of fuel economy and crazy gas prices, do you use your hummer more as a second, recreational vehicle, or is it your primary vehicle?

I don't myself own a Hummer vehicle but you know, even if I had, I would be using it only as a second vehicle.

But the oil price and fuel economy is coming rapidly down you know. Then I would have it just as primary.

It would be great not to have to worry about gas mileage and price, but it's too out of control to ignore. I don't do any excess driving anymore. I'd love to be able to drive a vehicle like a Hummer, but no way could I afford it.

I think a lot of people are using them as a secondary vehicle, I know this is what my friends have been doing since gas prices went crazy!

It I owned one it would be a secondary vehicle. I could not afford to feed the beast in today's economy.

I'm really surprised gas has gone down so much over the last couple of weeks. It makes you want to go out for a joy ride! lol

LOL - yeah $4.20 a gallon definitely is nothing to party about, but the fact that it never actually got above $5 is certainly impressive.

...yet, anyway. There's nothing that says it won't go back up. Amazing how good it feels to be at $4.09, but how sad that it feels good at all.
