Self Oil Change

Do you think that changing the oil in the H2 is straight forward enough that someone would be able to do it at their home? Would you need to lift the car up to do it, or could you just slide under?

Take it in and have a pro do it. Changing the oil in a hummer is really the hardest thing to do of all basic servicing issues. It's not easy, so just pay the pros to deal with the hassle. Other basic stuff you should be able to do, though.

Any idea where exactly the oil pan is located?

I haven't done it myself but I know from others that it really runs and you have to be in the right spot under the hummobile. :}
