Alright, first off I love my hummer. I just want to see what drawbacks you all have found out about the H2 since you've bought one.
I'll start off with the most blatantly obvious choice.

GAS MILEAGE

Well semi on topic. I have heard a few complaints about visibility through the rear window. Anyone else heard this?

Visibility through rear I also heard as well, we own a Hummer but we don't really notice it as much as just the general headspace seems less spacious as other cars we've test driven. It might be just because of the lesser window space though

Well I would not know. Guess I'm going to have to go get me one and decide for myself.

Well, just go take it out for a test drive, thats the only way you'll be able to get the feel of not only sitting in the car but also driving it. Remember to give the engine a good rev to test the transmission and acceleration, I'm sure you'll be please about performance though.

Only thing that bugs us is, as mentioned, the headspace.

Yeah we are going to have to go and do that. We've been talking about it for awhile now. Luckily for me I am a shorty so the head space shouldn't be an issue for me and if it bothers my old man oh well ha...ha... then that gives me that much more of a reason to make it just mine ;-)

I think large vehicles, like the hummer, are good candidates for alternative fuel capability.

I haven't actually done any research on it, but I think larger vehicles could have the storage (load) capacity for fuel cells or other types of fuel storage components. With "pollution" being only water, in the case of hydrogen fuel technologies, there would not the environmental considerations there are today. With advances in fuel cell technology, dual cells could make that type of vehicle "range" competitive with current vehicles when comparing drivable distance on a single tank of gas.

I agree with you. It seems to me the technology should be there somewhere and it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.

For me, its parking. My driveway is the only place it fits, and it is impossible to park on the city streets because of its bulk.
