Default Any Toyota enthusiasts?

I bought my first Toyota just under a year ago...a brand new Camry...one with all the bells and whistles. I love it. I'm told they run forever.

Back in the early 80s I drove a couple of Tercels and I loved them.

I traded them after a year or two, so I have no first hand experience with how long those lasted, but there's one that looks just like one of mine in my parking garage and it looks to be in great shape.

I can't say I recall the Carina. I remember the Corolla and the Celica, if that's how they're spelled.

Was the Carina a high end model?

There's good reason you don't remember the Carina. The Corolla and Corona were great cars with incredible longevity. Not many Carinas were made and that's the reason why. They didn't perform and they didn't last. I last saw mine in the middle of an intersection in a small town in Maine where I abandoned it in a rage one day.....many, many years ago!!

Actually our niece was a had a camry couple years ago and they did run pretty good. The one thing about Toyotas is the engine, incredibly low noise level and they are pretty good in terms of not having to fix too often. Thats why theyve been increasing in value over these years, to the point of almost taking out Ford in terms of competition

My friend just got a 2008 and even though I generally do not like Camry's at all I have to say that the changes, upgrades and new perks that they made are really nice. I especially liked how quiet it is while driving, something that wasnt true before.

I own a Toyota Previa van with 250,000 miles on it and still going strong. I love the new camry's though they ride so nice.

Default Landcruiser

I had a Landcruiser for years, but with gas prices being the way they were we had to let it go.
